I think I've bricked my old GDR-3120L v46 by using the internal flasher in toolbox 4.6 instead of the flash46.exe!
The progress bar had moved along several notches then the app just froze on me - I was going to upgrade to 1.4 of iextreme.
I tried to kill the app and relauch so I could use the flash46.exe but the previous app was still frozen up. I even tried to log off and relogin into my machine incase that resolved the app issues. But I think the reason it was freezing was down to windows freaking out over the weird drive it now had connected to the PC. Reluctantly (and probably foolishly) I restarted the machine to see if I could fix the issue with toolbox 4.6, now the drive is no longer recognised in my BIOS and the disc tray fails to eject

Are there any tricks to getting a bricked drive back? From what I've been reading other drives can be bought back from the dead using mtkflash and swapping SATA cables on an existing drive but I didn't think you could use that on the GDR-3120L drives?
I have a back up of my key, original & hacked firmware before I was stupid enough to use the internal flasher

Will I just have to swap drives? If so, what should I try and get?
Thanks for your help in advance and also for a very cool forum!:)
