ok guy need your help
I have Benq ixtreme 1.5 that i flashed using ck3 kit lite
its been flashed at 1.5 sence the wave came and had been working ok every now and then i would get an Open Tray but i would eject it and it would start reading the disc. And then just yesterday I got 3 red rings so i unhooked the fan and proceeded to over heat it to reset the xbox (ive already replaced the heat compound with Arctic silver 5 about a year ago with the x-clamps so it not a heat issue) So after the heat reset, the xbox booted fine but the Open Tray started happening a lot more now so i decided to up grade to 1.6.
Eveything seemed to go well with the flashing I had no problems during the flashing (Iprep009) but now it wont register any games original or backups.
I only started having problems when I upgraded to 1.5.
I do have a copy of my original factory flash before i did any flashing
All my Flashing has been done with Iprep
Is there something Im missing
thanks
Xbox Open Tray

It sounds like your systems key didn't make it into your firmware. You need to check to see if you have the key for you system. The file is named key.bin and is 25-digits I believe. Should look like a random grouping of numbers. You can check the validity of the key with Jungle Flasher in the Firmtool32 tab.

Re: Xbox Open Tray
No originals or backups = bad key, or bad laser.
Dvd, but no originals or backups = bad key.
It seems like you have a bad key... Your laser wouldn't just completely stop working after a flash, its MUCH more likely you have a bad key. As technoe said, check your key. Open your OFW as source in jungle flasher, and look at the key, should be random letters and numbers.

when i open my original flash in jungle i have a valid random set of numbers and letters
is it possible to flash back to the original or is that a waist of time?

You should edit your key out just to be safe. That key is a good one...
What you should do is take your BenQ OFW and open that in Jungle as source, then open your ixtreme as target. Then click spoof source to target, and make sure the key @ <address> is the same.
Then save that FW as BenQ CFW, and flash that to your drive. Once you have finished flashing, your xbox will play your games & backups.
