hi i want to update fw to i.6. have never updated spoffed drive be for. so the drive is a sam m28 but spoffed as a lit-on
so when in jf do i do it as sam28 or lit-on.have not got orig drive key for lit-on. fw on it is x1.4
I think I've just figured it out. 1st I opened the sam28 with the 0800 disc in jungle flasher. read the fw that was already on there then loaded x1.6 for the lite-on then spoofed as target then saved it then loaded it as source firmware then loaded samsung extreme 1.6 and then spoofed as target again then flashed the drive as normal. Everything fine, hope this helps

Re: updateing a spoffed drive
just an FYI, you can do it even simpler.
Dump the drive, it will be spoofed as a lite-on already with your key in the FW, then load that as source, and the ixtreme 1.6 (ms28) as target, then spoof source to target and flash.
Your ixtreme 1.4 holds a string saying "Im a Lite-On" and a string saying the key. So when you dump it, Jungle will see those 2 strings, and say Spoofed as Lite-on, and the key. Then when you click the spoof source to target button it will copy those 2 strings into the other FW (1.6) so now 1.6 says "Im a Lite-On" and has the same key.
