Bad rips????

Ok, so I have a sh-d162c drive flashed with the 1.0 firmware and a lite-on drive flashed with 1.6 ixtreme. Whenever i rip a game everything goes fine but whenever I try to burn it or play it, I always get a problem. Whenever I burn them imgburn gives me an error...something to do with the i/o; Whenever I try to play it after if I get it burnt It gives me an error saying unable to play disc or sometimes it says dvd. Please help. Im on windows xp and I have a memorex burner. I'm using verbatims dvd+r dl's.

What is the error you get? Do you have any of your burn logs?

May be a media problem, what disks are you using? Is your disk blank? If its blank, and your using verbatim MIS's then it looks like a laser problem, your laser seems to be weak.

How long have you had the burner? If youve had it for a while and burned alot of things, its probably about time to replace it.
