I got a question about flashing a lite-on drive, I just bought a usb xtractor to get the needed files from the drive to flash it, from my understanding the usb xtractor only dumps the needed files it does not create the custom firmware ( dont know if im right about that ) if that's all it does how do I create custom firmware with the dumped files using jungle flasher and how would I flash it using IPREP. The reason I would use IPREP and not jungle flasher is that I have done a few sammy and benq drives withe IPREP and I feel more comfortable using it instead of jungle flasher. I have via card and no sata ports on my mobo
I have the via card drivers installed, since I am doing a lite-on drive do I have to uninstall the driver and install portio 32 driver. Thanks in advance.

Re: Question about flashing a lite-on drive
Have you already dumped the drive? if you have just load the dummy.bin into jungleflasher in the source tab and it will auto load the ixtreme for you then click on save file and rename it to litcfw.bin. Then create a file inside the backup folder on your iprep stick and name it 1234567 (or your first 7 digits of your serial) then another inside that named 12345 (or the last 5 digits of your serial) and place the litcfw.bin into it. When you reboot into iprep go straight to the flit 1234567 12345 (or your serial if you've named the folders accordingly) command as you don't need to dump the drive. Also if you're not planning on using jungle to flash the drive you can leave you're viamraid.sys driver installed. Happy flashing.
