Consistant issues dumping the liteon key

Ive been having this issue over the last week and could use a 2nd opinion.

I recently got the ck lite (serial port) kit and probe as i do not wish to attemp soldering. As well as invested in a via pci card.

I have no problems doing all the drives except for the liteon.

I can get it to show up on jungleflash but i cannot get the key. Itll give the bad serial error and i tried diferent com ports too.

In iprep it keeps giving me a bad inquiry and nothing more.

Now the problem also is that my probe is always green and will not cut off. So im assuming its broken. I have tried to use the probe regardless of the light problem but no success. I also attempted to use a thumbtack but nothin either.

So i may try a safety pin but im havin doubts on that. Im also confused on where to place the pins. Is it the r707 hole or the space between the two solder dots by the hole? I attempted both but had no avail.

Sorry for the wall of text as a first post but im completley lost on where to go next. Also, would anyone know modchips.ca's phone number? Ive been tryin to reach them about the broken probe

hi do what i have been doing since the liteon arrived get a small strip of clear selotape a strand of copper wire stick the wire to the selotape then put over the r707 pins when you go to extract the key press down on the wire with your finger and it will work does for me every time just make sure the wire is across pins

I see. So i put the wire bridging those dots then? No poking holes at all?

Im assuming i wont get the same results with scotch tape or electrical? Heh

before i go out and buy these pieces, cause this is gettin to my wallet now, is it possible to jus use the safety pin, if so can i get a pic showin someone using it right?

I was having problems with getting the key of a lite on earlier on, it my my COM cable giving me problems so check to see if one of the 3 wires if the cable has come out of the end of the wire which goes in the CK3.

Im currently away from my home but will look into that. But i think theyre ok though cause i can flash the other type drives just fine

Of course you can flash every other dirve normally because every other drive does not use the COM cable so they will flash normally, have a look on CK3.co.uk

Well I appreciate the help, but I gave up on it. It just doesnt want to work with me and I had too many problems and wasted too much money on it and modchips.ca doesnt seem to want to replace my parts.

I tried the Maximus reader and that detected it, but no matter what spears, probes, pins, etc, I cant get it to dump the drive.
Maybe I'll try another time but I'm too burnt to keep goin right now. I'm so pissed lol

So i lost the key for the the drive its a lite-on by the way i know how to unbrick it but i lost the key is their another way how to get the key to the motherboard from the xbox360??? plz help i dont wanna spend more money
