this one in particular I made myself mostly using, sand paper, black spray paint for plastic, permanent sharpie for plastic, custom wiring (I build pc's) , xacto knife, patience (especially for removing the benq magnet from the drive, blue led talimoon fan, black tape, custom clear fan tunnel and clear BenQ disc drive cover from clearxbox.com (Unfortunately now I'm stuck with an entire set of a custom clear case that I do not need and only used two parts from it, that being the tunnel and the benq part. Two XCM v2 blue led fans. As far as the case goes... look up the member Ma$oniCe on ebay.. I got the top part from him already dremeled open so all i had to do was spray paint some, sand it down and apply plexy glass. He also soddered blue leds onto a red ring board for me. I love this case and I first saw it on youtube posted by a member called "charlimurphi" check it out. He goes all out and uses a pulsing led board though... I don't need all that haha.
I think im going to take a couple days off from doing anything, and just mess around with my xbox case...
Yea, I really like this design of the case, and apparently lots of others do too, because like I said ive seen quite a few around. Anyways, real good job! I doubt many people put in as much work as you did
I, for the life of me, cannot figure out why the LEDs around my disc drive are way too dim. Yesterday I took it apart and just replugged everything and then when i fired it up everything was superbright and awesome....except for one small exception... the left fan on my talismoon was not spinning, but all the LEDs were nice and bright. Again I replugged everything in and now its back to its dim state but with both fans spinning. The LEDS im using are the ones that come with the Ghost Case V2, that connect to the fan port. Anyone have any ideas of whats going on?
turns out it was the cheap crappy LEDs. The cables were faulty, tried a friends Talismoon Aurora Lights and BAM beautiful brightness. Once mine come in and are installed, I'll put up the pics.
