LiteOn 83850c flashing problems

ok im tryting to flash my new LiteOn 83850c drive everytime i try to open freekey openkey it just flashes and dissapears on me what can be the problem...........also were can i get LO83info files from thanx

you can get them from xbins mate

they are in the 360 firmware tools folder

ok i have them thanx.........now when i try opening free key or open key lo83.exe when i click on any of them the program opens then shuts down on me on my desktop

Open a command prompt first, then run the command from the command line.

thanx..........but i open up dos and type in Lo83info_32.exe 1290 it says is not reconized

did you change directories to the folder where lo83info_32.exe was? Generally when you open a command prompt it puts you at the C:\Documents and Settings\Current User folder. You would have to use the CD command to Change Directory to the desktop and then to the folder where you put lo82info_32.exe, then run it.For example, if your user profile was called bob, when you open your command prompt it would say C:\Documents and Settings\Bob then you would type CD desktop and hit enter, the prompt would change to C:\Documents and Settings\Bob\Desktop then you would CD lo83 or whatever you named the folder and hit enter. The prompt should change to C:\Documents and Settings\Bob\Desktop\LO83\ then you can run lo83info.exe 1290 it should work.

theres a new program called fwz decrypter . its completely windows based and literally one click so you dont have to use freekey. just use jungle flasher 1.65 to get the bin the save it and use that program to get the key. if you have an extra drive i would spoof the key into it first before you erase the new drive

We don't think its intended purpose was for end user quality improvements. Rather for M$'s security. Other than the security changes, the hardware appears exactly the same.
