august 11 update question plz

Hey all I bought a xbox 360 benq system right has 1.6 iextreme firmware and works great but I have a question I notice there is a patch out with like new features and all anyone knows if it will harm the system that are like flashed? Will it still be good as long as the game are properly patched and made correctly?....does anyone know how they still detect for flash consoles is it really the games?

As long as you are not planning on running some HomeBrew software, then you should be fine.

Yeah everything will be ok as long as u dont have any homebrew running. mine was ok after the update untill i got the rrod 5 days later
