xbox drive help please

ok i was doing my xbox 360 (flashing it) everything is fine then when we get to the last part where it checks if its ok it said failed now my xbox drive wont turn on any help please (btw its lite-on)

What do you mean by not turning on? Will it not eject? If so do you have a valid dump of the drive you can reflash in?

well it just wont power up at all iv tryed it in my xbox still disk drive wont power up just simple will not power up and no eject dont work =[ i fink its bust? guess i gotta buy new 1 ey? =[

ok i cannot do that because it will not come up in jungleflasher it did b4 this happend now all it says is no device found
so i cannot do that vdieo is it possible to buy new drive flash that 1 and use it? also witch drive is easiest to flash >_> thanks

The video is designed to fix drives that are no longer recognisable in jungleflasher after locking up by using dos commands. Watch it all the way through. Alternatively yeah you can inject the key into another drive but try the l-o-eras work around first as it may save you cash.

I quite like benq's (they sound like jets taking off which makes me happy. hah) but its down to personal preference. You might be better off getting another Liteon just avoid hitachi's.

edit: sorry i no now its Error E64: DVD Drive Error (DVD Timeout, Wrong firmware, Dvd is without firmware chip, etc.)

You got the E64 because you erased the FW, and your drive is locked up... here is the solution:

ok thanks i will try again... before i sell it .. (whole xbox elite) i no pfft! also when i tyred that iprep on his video i cant seem to burn it to disk it doesnt allow to to tick the box to make it bootable hmm =(


EDIT: sorry to keep posting but i really want it fixed so anyway... when i start iprep it comes up with unable to find devices ?

Dont sell the xbox, its completely fine (As long as you have dumped the drive), what you did is a common error with flashing a lite-on.

Are you using the correct type of flash drive? Does your computer allow you to boot from flash drives?

If you are having troubles, watch cofree's video, but use one of these methods instead:

what do you mean doe smy pc alow me to boot from flash drives? also yes i have the right stuff i have ck3 pro with probe ect i get unable to find devices when loading iprep

I guess you'll find out if it does or not when you go to restore your drive.

You dont need anything as of right now... All you need is a power source, for this you can use your ck3. No need to probe as there is no firmware on the drive, thus nothing for you to probe.

Do you have a via card? This could be why iprep cannot find devices
