Ok here it is the iPrep for samsung went fine but when I go to

ben @@@@@@@ @@@@@ Iprep will read it.....get the key....then go to the erasing portion then return this error

File BACKUPS\1234567/12345\L83CFW.BIN is not present! ******Success******

I have tried everything 15 times...

It still plays originals but not backups goes to the DVD screen on the console

Does it actually save a CFW? If it does, check it with jungleflasher or firmware toolbox and see if it's valid. And what about the OFW? I haven't used the new iprep yet so I will be kinda in the dark on this one.

Yep it saves the ofw and the cfw but ...if you look at the language it states that.... L83CFW.BIN is not present....I would assume not as I am not doing a liteon....I totally mucked up my iPrep computer....again

THe new iPrep is more automated no D command no F command just straight ben or sam + the ser number then iPrep kinda takes over....

I still cannot get the firmware for the lite-ons into iPrep the FW works fine in my JF setup just not the iPrep and I did check the def files....all seems to be good...i dunno at this point.

I prefer iPrep over JF as it just is smooth with never a glitch untill now...it will work itself out I have faith

Yeah, sounds like something is off. I can load all 1.6 firmwares including 7000 and 8000 series on my setup. But I haven't flashed anything with it yet. I will try this evening and see what happens.

Would this be a sign to hold off and wait a couple weeks for the bugs to be worked out before using the new IPrep?

Any updates on this shootsteel? I didn't get the chance to try iprep out last night as I had planned.
