io port driver
i have had the io port drivers on my pc for a while but suddenly bitdefender as started uninstalling them saying trojan generic any one else having this prob

I use bit defender, and it has never told me that. If it says anything about it being a trojan, just add it to the safe list.

thanks for reply yes i could do what you say and i prob willbut im wondering why its starting to say this now after all this time and now its reporting abgx as a virus i have sent a email to bitdefender so ill see what they say

Well neither are viruses.
PortIO is an unsigned driver, that may be the problem.
ABGX opens a file (your game) scans it, and sends results to its server, (if the option is selected) it will patch your game with its files. This could be mistaken for spyware.

thanks for reply but im wondering why now after over six months or more that the drivers have been on and bitdefender over 4 years just seems strange

Who knows, virus scanners update all the time.
I used to use AVG but it decided one day to delete half the DDL's belonging to itunes claiming they were some kind of trojan (upon further research, the trojan it had said iTunes was did not actually exist...)
