flashed benq w/ iprep 10 no backups will play

hi all, i'm having a problem getting a friends benq to flash ixtreme 1.51 and work.
to start off, i was trying iprep 10, and after failing many times over, i googled the problem and was sent here to find out that 10 and benq dont mix. so i got v10.1, and then it wouldn't make my usb stick bootable, and i tried that many times also. iprep wouldn't change the name of the stick in windows, and also when trying to boot from it it would give some drive not bootable error. so then i found the fix on here to make iprep v10 work w/ benq drives, and when i tried to flash it went all the way through reading, erasing, and flashing. when it finished it said successful. but when i put in a backup i get the put disc in 360 console. but originals work just fine? almost like it didn't flash the hacked fw to the drive. but it said bank 0 bank1 ect. flashed just fine.

i know, long story, but i dont know how to tell if the drive did flash to teh xtreme fw or not.
P.S. i know the backups are good, i play them in my samsung and they load up just fine. damn benq, why couldn't ms just kept with the easy samsung drives.. LOL

Try using different media first as it may not like the brand of disc you're using. Most people prefer Verbatims as they offer the best compatibility and quality.

well, i heard that jungleflasher tells you what fw is on your drive, so i got that, and hooked everything up, and it seems my drive never flashed w/ iprep like it said it did, so i used jungleflasher, and now all is well.

Glad you got it sorted in the end. Weird one with iprep though as it's usually spot-on.
