You can just erase the drive just like the 7's. I had one lock up on me yesterday, i had the keys, and info, so i just done this process. viewtopic.php?f=197&t=7041" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Works for both 7's and 8's.

in the tutorial it says save the file as litcfw.bin :: when i did the original dump i got a file called lit_cfw.bin :; can't i just use that and rename it. also, this was my first time using jungleflasher for a lite-on. i normally just use it for hitachi drives. . .

in jungle flasher you would have got the file lit_cfw.bin just copy and paste that into the 12345 folder then rename it as litcfw.bin. Just keep the the original dump.

now, lol! being that i never used jungleflasher before for the lite-on, i think i was in the mtk flash32 tab or whichever one the lo83info option is in. when i clicked that it went through a whole bunch of options and that's how the key dumped. i got the inquiry, identify, and the key bins. was that the way it was suppose to be done?

in you lit_cfw.bin does it look like you have a good key? if so you can just recover your drive just follow this tut viewtopic.php?f=197&t=7041 in your case load the lit_cfw.bin as your source instead off the dummy.bin if you dont have it

definitely looks like the key is good, that's what i was wondering. . . if i could rock out with the lit_crew.bin. hope so because it would suck to lose this 360! it's brand spanking new. made the rookie mistake though, i didn't research completely and i always do that smh @ myself
