Geremias dvdkey method failed!!!!

Ok so now I hate my xbox with a passion!!

I have got all mt iprep set up and done every thing but when I come to get the key all i get it Geremias dvdkey method failed...

Please someone come to my rescue, why is this happening???

you will need an rs232 cable and probe
best to type dlit 1234567 12345 then attach probe and then hold it there and go thru the options

also make sure you have the tray half open!!

I have the probe on lit up green and I have the cable plugged into com 1 and I am following the tut to the letter but still no key?

Are you sure you have the prob in r707 hole? Do you have the correct sata port specified?

Yes I was doing everything right (I have done this before when I first flashed it with Extreme 1.5), but all is well know I have done it!!!

I still had all my original files from when I did it the first time and I rememberd that I had this trouble getting the key before..so I simply loaded my ORIGINAL bins files in jungleFlasher and spoofed into the Extreme 1.6 Firmware THEN made a MSDOS boot disk with DOSFLASH and L-O-ERASE.EXE on it and did it in DOS.....

So easy, I should have done this in the first place..

Still have no idea why I could not get the key using IPREP, the strange thing is is that I did manage to get the key out using JF later on that same night in windows??? YOU TELL ME??

May be you had the wrong com port selected, rs232 not connected properly, thats what the problem sounds like to me as you were able to get the key with jf
