New dvd drive to an old xbox 360

Hello. I'm going to change my friends xbox 360 dvd drive to a BenQ who is already flashed.
I think its samsung drive or hitachi on the xbox 360 right now?

How do i do? Do i just take the old drives Dummy.bin and load it up on jf and connect the benq and then flash it again?

Yeah man just get the dummy.bin files from the hitatchi drive.
load that as source in jungleflasher
Then load your Benq ixtreme 1.6 in target.
Click spoof source to target
Save your new cfw

Then just flash then benq with that like u would any other benq

or if u wanna do this in iprep

make the flash and in the backups folder make a new folder and call it 1234567 and inside that make another folder called 12345

open that and place your cfw firmware in that. Then rename it to bencfw.bin

boot into iprep and flash the benq from there

Also use v9 iprep if u doing it that way

my friend sold his old xbox 360 and bought a new instead:-P its was a lite-on 74850c that i flashed.
Anyway thank you man for the support.
