Lite On 83850c not responding after erase in JF.Please help!

Hello,

I have attempted my first flash using the Jungle Flasher 1.66b tutorial. I have done the lO83info extract correctly and everything up until I had to erase the lite on. When I pressed Lite On erase and it sent status 0xD0 I forgot to turn the lite on off and back on....Now it won't respond and it freezes my computer whenever I hook it up...

I have the Dummy.bin, Key.bin etc saved though.

Can someone please help me, I really hope I can still save my Lite on....

Will this still work even though I have the New Lite on drives?(8385)

In the video, he mentions a Dos folder...

Where can I get that folder to put on my flash drive??

Also, if i'm using NTFSdos (cd) how would I boot into this program using that method???

this method is without the need for dos just iprep, the version of iprep used to do this is 9

Yea just create your usb drive like you normally would with IPrep and add in the files that CoFree states in the video. Any questions just post em up.

Have a same problem with same drive, happened same way. have been working around 1.5days with this problem with no solution. Xbos flashing green light and eject button is not responding after failed erease with JF.

What i did with that Iprep 009 method was: created boot disk, then add'd folders backup/1234567/12345 and my modified FW_created_with_JF. Over dos inserted command: flit 1-7 1-5 and finally got to a point where it sayd: No ATAPI devices present.
Did i miss something? that video is hard to understand 4 me. quess i didnt need to add more stuff?

Also DVD drive is not recognized @ PC's BIOS. so is it dead? (new xbox )
and if it is dead can i swap it with another one? (considering its liteon 83850) got dummy of it with JF before it died.

the list off ports wouldnt see the drive as its blank, ie locked, not ejecting. What you need to do is follow the tut i posted in the other post. take note of your primary port so when you come to select what port its on you will know.

I think i remember what port it was (0xD400) with your TUT i never have a chance there to enter my port.

I quess its called ICH8? asus p5b motherboard with Intel P965 chipset . successfully flashed 2 drives with that pc. (benq, hitachi(?)) and everything was fine with that one after JF erease crashed it.

i have the same problem as melux. The computer doesn't recognise the drive :/ I have nvidia chipset and i have flashad over 50 xboxes :/

some drives will flash on some chipsets and some wont. im not sure if its compatable, do you have a via6421 card to try??
