X360 go pro (Philips LiteOn)

Post by ganondorfan »

Hi comarades,

I have a X360 goPro already unlocked(Philips LitOn), but the firmware installed on it are very Old.
Im tryed to flash it with Iprep 008.8, but wheen I boot from the pendrive, the aplication says '" Ensure your Lite-On drive is ON and Connected to COM 01.
(why this aplication ask for COM01, wheen I Trying to use Sata Ports?? )

My onBoard Sata controler is provided by Nvidia

I need to know how to proceed. There is another version (newest) for the Iprep? Where can I get it?
Someone here already updated this kind of drive with Iprep?

PS: Sorry by my poor english, it isn't my first language. :|

COM1 means your serial port, are you using a connectivity kit of some kind?

NO, Im use only a Sata calbe to conect the drive on my PC

I will need something to reconize the SATA port on Iprep?? Why I must use serial?

im having same problem, if you check my post i think im looking for the same answer, i just want to update the liteon firmware to the latest as its already been flashes and a bit of soldering done inside.
only flashes ive ever done have been benq drives using iprep and want to know if i can update the liteon in the same way without opening closing drive with the kit etc.

If im right you need a serial cable if your flashing a lite on even when updating, or if im wrong you could go straight to the flashing part of iprep without having to dump the drive, build your hacked firmware in jungle flasher, then make a iprep boot device, inside the boot make a folder called 1234567, then make a folder inside tha called 12345, then place your hacked firmware in there (the one you just built in jungle flasher), remove the _ from the name of the hacked firmware aswell, then go onto flashing the drive as normal in iprep, please could someone correct me if im wrong ;)

you need the com port because on the 7000 series lite-on drives that's how the key is read\dumped. the sata port is how the flash is performed. so you definitely need the com port if you need to get the key. . .

He already has flashed it before so if he has the dummy.bin from the last time he flashed it then he could build his hacked firmware in jungle flasher then flash in iprep :) did you flash this drive yourself before or did you get someone else to do it? and what firmware does it currently have?

Shouldn't need the COM port for this one, even without the original dummy.bin...

on the dvdkey tab in Jungleflasher, you can dump a drive thats already been flashed
with the 'dummy from iXtreme' button. This is all done over SATA.

I made the COM cable.
Flash Jungler made the work, like in tuto that I found in internet.

now I will downgrade my firmware to 1.51, cause the 1.6 doesn't work with some games.

PS: I dont wanna play on live, so I will use the non-stealth discs.

See ya. ;)

If anyhting more games will work with the 1.6 better than 1.51, use what ever works best if you defo not going on live ;)
