Ripping an original with Xbox Backup Creator and 0800

I flashed a lite-on with ix 1.6 0800 firmware, and when I try to rip it with Xbox Backup Creator it will start to rip then it just fails, it says read failed, it asks me do I want to retry, fill it with blank or zero sectors or something like that, or cancel. I tried it with two games, one got about 90% the other got to about 50%. What am I doing wrong?

Sounds like a disc problem to me, ensure they're spotless and scratch free before you start...

Does the drive show up in device manager?

I tried it again with a virtually brand new game and it worked perfectly, the other two I tried did have a couple marks but I didn't think that, that would effect it, it still worked when I played it on Xbox, but what ever I guess they have to be perfectly clean.

After it ripped I put ABGX 360 on autofix lvl 0 and everything was good, but it had the same media ID as the one from ABGX's database, I thought each copy had it's own unigue media ID.

No that's fine, the media id is always the same...

Give those other disks a clean now you know it's working as it should, see if you can get them...
