Im having troubles with my backups working properly!

i have ripped all my games using WXripper, And so far I have had no problem with any of them until I tried to rip my newer games.. (Madden 10, Halo ODST) So far those are the only two games ive had trouble with.

When i put them in my consoles, It just reads the games as a DVD and pops up the white screen with the giant X on it.

Ripped w/ WX Ripper, Burned using IMGBurn and I am using Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL Discs.

I have re ripped both games several times and I have went through about 6 discs trying, any ideas?

Might be having trouble with the newer wave 3 games. See if theres an updated wxripper available (not too sure as i use schtrom and kreons) but im sure one of the guys will know.

Well It seems as though Kreons is the way to go..
Needless to say, mine is in the mail on its way.. Ill be glad to ditch the hotswap method, its kind of a pain sometimes..

Alright, It definitely seems to be something to deal with the wave 3 games.. It seems like there is more people than just me having this problem.. Hopefully someone figured it out..

Once you use your kreon you'll never go back ..They rock....well not really rock but you get the idea.

haha, Im pretty excited to get it..

So I decided to try the games I am having problems with in another system.

They did not work on my Hitachi 0079, They also didnt work on my BenQ, But they worked on my LiteOn.

Something Im doing wrong?

sounds like iffy media. For the best compatibility i'd use verbs (the made in singapore ones) I burn all mine at 2.4 speed too.

I definitely have verbs.
Im not sure if they are singapore, but ill definitely keep my eye out in the future

Im thinkin it might just be me, being an idiot.

I think I flashed my Hitachi with outdated firmware.
It was my first drive that I flashed, so im assuming that i put the wrong firmware on it.

Damnit

I got all the discs to work on my benq 1.6 and my liteon 1.6.

So Ill have to just reflash the hitachi

I had it flashed with 1.4 firmware.

Damnit, my bad.

Im still learning, thank god I only did that to my first 360, and not all of them.
That would have been a pain.

Hi, I am having the same problem with NFS Shift. I have a BenQ and have flashed 1 year ago with Ixtreme 1.41. Do I need to flash the drive again with a new firmware to handle wave 3 software? I use XBC to rip with a SH-162C with Kreon 1.00 firmware and IMGBurn to burn with verbatums from Singapore. I get the reading DVD as well before the big X screen. What am I doing wrong?

Yup update the firmware to 1.6 to enable the console to play wave 3 games. Its also preferred if you make your own thread in the help sections. No biggie though.
