lite on troubles NEED HELP

I am using jungle flash 1.66 and ck3 LITE and ck3 probe, this is a lite on 7400 model, jungle flash recognizes the drive and every time i put the probe on to dump the key it says bad serial data... I have seen these msgs before that were similar but none of them helped at all. My friend that bought me the ck3 cheaped out and bought the ck3 LITE, i do not have a serial port so i am running a serial to USB adapter, but it has worked on many other drives, the only thing that isnt working is the probe to dump the key. does anyone have any useful information for me? PLEASE!

Have go got the ck3 drivers installed?? (USB Drivers)??
If not it will not be able to dump the files u need and will come back with that error msg
Have a look through the download section of this site
im pretty sure the drivers what u need are there

Also what lights are on the probe?
I mean before u put it into the r707 hole??

I have all of the drivers installed, werent sure which ones to install though, because it is supposed to be for a serial port, but is in my usb port with that adapter... so i tried it with both drivers- no success, the light on the ck3 is blue and the lite on the probe is blue, when i put it in the hole i get one blue light and a solid green light

Ok have u flashed lite on drives with this method before??

not the 74 series only the 83, and i have flashed multiple benq and hitachi drives

Have u got the tray half open on the drive when attempting to pull the info??

yeah, i was looking on other websites and it said to even try cycling it on and half way shut when you are in you boot up menu when u start your comp.... that didnt work either

i found some info that might help.... jungle flash will only let me select com3 but when i go into control panel to see where my device is, it says it is in com4... but it wont let me select it in jungle flash, any help on how to change this

update i disabled the modem that was in com3 so the only thing that i have in a comport is the serial to usb adapter that i am using for the ck3 lite, it is in com2... but now when i start up jungleflash it says NO COMPORTS WERE DETECTED
