Lite-on 8000 series

Post by staningrimsby »

HI guys,

I realise that this may be a stupid question but i have just watched a video tutorial on flashing the 8000 series lite-on done by "Shootsteel" using JF 1.66b.

Excuse my ignorance but is the 8000 series the new Lite-on 83850c ????

Regards
Stan.

Stutterman is right

Just FYI

lite-on 7000 series or L74 == lite-on with firmware rev 74850c
lite-on 8000 series or L83 == lite-on with firmware rev 83850c

Iprep, i didnt realise that you could use i prep on the new drive, i do prefer to use that rather than JF, do i still need to use my probe or is the key extracted through the software ???
