With the new DosFlash 1.8 I was able to recover several "bricked" LiteOns very easily. Just hook it up the normal way, power on the drive with the tray half open, run DosFlash 1.8, select LiteOn Erase from the drop down box with the correct port selected, then hit the Erase button. It should say success, then reopen jungleflasher and make your hacked firmware and flash like normal worked for me 3 times perfectly. Id say at this point between DosFlash and JF you can't brick anything anymore

if you have the 83850c rev dirve use iprep 10.7 that is fully auto and will take about 10mins max

also you do not need a serial cable or probe for that drive. you have ck3 just use that
