invalid status oxfo

just installed windows 7 so i have just put j/f back on port i/o installed via card installed tested with a samsung everything going ok drive gets seen get it into vendor mode but when i press read get message invalid status oxfo any one know whats causing this ive never had this before any help thanks

Which version of 7 are you using? Also are you using the same sata port as before you put 7 on your pc? Try power cycling the drive (I'm sure you've done this).
