i just recieved a lite-on with the board BS-3...

for all of the people that are wondering if you can get a good key off the bs-3 board i just have...my friend got a xbox back from microsoft and wanted to flashed..i looked under the board and there was that bs-3 liteon that people are talking about...

Yes, we have determined thats not a valid way to identify the new lite-on's anymore. BS-2 through 4's have all been flashed, so we are now looking for a new method for identification.

What I heard is that they wont flash on Jungle Flasher, but they do work on Iprep or any kind of usb bootable software for flashing.

I dunno if it is true but you never know

Who knows. It may be 1.7 we may see a 1.61 no one knows when. Being that there is only 1 wave 4 game as of yet, its not that big of a rush for the FW to be made and released.

try both methods
if it wont dump then its prob 1 of the unflashable drives

Ive tried everything to dump the key JF, old iprep new iprep in windws in Dos stand alone L083 inf platforms .........the list goes on..

Still no joy my friend

You have an unflashable drive, your going to either need to return/sell your xbox for a new one (hoping you get a flashable drive) or wait it out until these drives are flashable.

i think he's just not doing it properly. he's having problems with more than one lite-on drive. . .
