Here is a video on making and using the activate iso to play wave 4 games on your xbox 360 console that is flashed with ix v1.6

That is right, this is better than downgrading your firmware to v1.51.

keep in mind that you dont want to play a wave 4 game of any kind on a console that you want to one day do the J-tag hack on.

*Update* "Looks like we were wrong in assuming that iXtreme v1.51 was fully compatible with 4th Wave PFI/Video. Turns out that only Hitachi iXtreme v1.51 will boot 4th Wave backups, and BenQ/LiteOn/Samsung iXtreme v1.51 will NOT boot 4th Wave. It would have been fully compatible if only the Video data had changed but not with the change in PFI (capacity). So currently the only safe option for booting 4th Wave backups on a BenQ/LiteOn/Samsung drive is to use iXtreme v1.6 and the one shot boot disc."

Thanks for the video. I probably will do this as i have a spare console but what i wont to no is what is a J-TAG hack sorry if this sounds stupied to so of you guy but its the first time i have heard about it.

JTAG has nothing to do with wave 4 disks, or activate.iso or ix1.6/1.51

Jtag is a mod that lets you boot from a different kernel, the reason you may be aware of it now, is because the disks are now wave 4 because the latest update (that patched the jtag exploit) is on the disk. If you want more info about jtag, start a new topic, since its a completely different subject than this.

Well im on FW 1.6 with a llite on drive and I did it the same exact way in your video, on a dl disc on the first layer.
