Whistling hit drive?

Hey all good i hope? my prob is my hit drive in my xbox360 is Whistling sometimes and then i have trouble running games sometimes because of it? don't get me wrong most of the time it runs like a dream no prob its just now and then any suggestions would be great thank u

What version of hit is it? Ive noticed my 78 has been acting up lately. Its probably just that the drive is worn out, its likely the motor needs a bit of grease. If its bothering you, you can install your games to the HDD, or swap drives, or grease the motor. (I dont know where to grease or what grease to use, but thats likely the problem)

hey thanks for the reply its a 59 if i remember correct? flashed it myself have done most drives anyway i thought it might be motor to but never messed with one before? any help advice anybody can give me would be great! thank u

With drives being as cheap as they are its better to usually just buy a new drive.
