Possibility getting fake or wrong DVD key?

Hi guys , i was wondering if there is a possibility to get a fake or wrong dvd key when flashing my lite-on 83850 drive with JF or Iprep ? and is there a way to double check or to be sure this key is the right key before attempting flash the drive? , thnx in advance.

hi if you have a spare drive spoof the key in to that and test it out.if you havent or your not sure do not hit liteon erase
i have a spare benq for testing

Yeah there is a fake key, im just trying to find it out, as soon as i do i will post it up

the key is rejected in jf 1.66 but here it is.

hi mate...how do you know if the key is fake.....?....when i did my drive i dumped the key about 3 times with my via sata and about 3 times agaim with my onboard sata...i checked them to see if they were the same?.....so i coukd have got a fake key...each time..?

Each key is unique, so obviously no key will be the same, trust me its fake,

All i can say is if you have a another drive to test it with then do that.

its some times cummin from the 83850 drives, not all do this but some do

ok guys thnx for the info , but how do i know if the key that dumped by iprep or JF is the right key of my drive not a fake key. so if i get a key other than that fake key , so definitely is gonna be my drive key , right? and is the Iprep or JF have possibility to show me an incorrect key ? i really nervous and this is my fist time to do this.

that is the only fake key that i know to. The only safe way is flashin it to another drive to test.

ok is there possibility that iprep gets me to the next step even if the keys r wrong ? (when it says dvd key patching ........ two times)
