can sammy 1.5 and liteon 1.5 iextreme play wave4?

Hello to all,
I came this afternoon to the digital forest of Sherwood, seeking advice. Since my last two updates to my box's I have been very happy but now that the time is approaching such journeys as, L4D2, Dante's inferno, AVP3, Allen wake... and so on.
I hear of this new wave 4.
Can my Sammy(spoofed liteon) 1.5 and liteon 1.5 iextreme final, play these new wave 4?

No they cant. you will need at least 1.6 with a 1 shot boot disk, or if you have an hitachi drive 1.51 it will play then. We believe at the moment new firmware is in development to enable to play wave 4

Thank you for that quick response. I was wondering if brutal legends was a wave 4 game. Is there a way that people are converting wave 4 to wave 3?

There is a patch floating around the net but i wouldnt advise you on doing this again your more likley to get banned, hold fire untill new fw is out

I never go on live due to being a fulltime student, and husband lol. Having said that, if I am not concerned with banning nor live, if I am DL-ing content that is patched would it matter? I am sure that the new fw will make patching a thing of the past but opening up the pc and box's can get tiresome.
