Firmware error

I downloaded the firmware abd placed it in the folder called firmware but it won't auto load and when I manually try to apply it I get this error THIS IS NOT A VALID SOURCE F'W file. Please advise.

did you unrar the file and then put it in the firmware folder. . . ?

Yes I did I have the 1.5 and 1.6 firm ware located in the folder that says place firmware here. but even when i manually try to select them I get that error.

Where did you get the FW from xbins?

You need to go on xbins and get the real FW.

I used the auto xbins file located on this site and still got the same error earlier today thats why i used a torrent site SMH

well if you got it from xbins and got an error than that should of been a sign that it's not the firmware. the stuff on xbins is more controlled then some random torrent. . . that's why i was smh!

I figured that but im just not sure why I'm getting that error I used the same FM on my other Lite on and it worked. I can't even get it to auto load.

I laughed pretty hard when I see you posted, so I scroll down to see if you posted something about how to fix the auto xbins or something, and all I see is "smh" hahahaha

if ur trying to use firmware 1.6 on JF if u have the repacked firmware u have to rename it to ix1.6-liteon.bin then dont let JF autoload it open firmware manually then spoof to target thats what i did and it worked good luck hope this helps
