XBOX 360 Bad experience with Lite on drive.

Post by MutuA10 »

Hello everyone... Now here is my problem. I took a xbox 360 (Lite On dvd drive) and i tried to flash it. :o . I was doing well at the start but I lost the KEYS.......(dumb) . I resolve my problem $$$$$$ by buying an XBOX 360 wich I flash succesfully. Now my question is : What can I do with the old one ? The XBOX 360 become a DVD hahaha... Is there any way i can fix this? Can I replace the old drive with another one? Any advice and/or help would be greatly appreciated . Thank you.

If you lost the key, there isn't much you can do.

If you buy a new drive, it will not have your key in the firmware and would not work. The drive would only be able to function as a DVD player.

The only thing you can really do is turn it into a media centre. Either jtag or just leave your console as it is, and connect it to media centre (if you have it)

I have a console dedicated to being a pure media centre, its awesome.
