My lite-on upgrading 74850c was surely done for as it didn't respond to anything until I used iprep to flash the L74.bin file onto my drive using a rs232 adapter and the Via drives with the portio32 installed. When I tried to flash it (type in the right port number and press enter) it gave me the message Unknown Device detected. I then checked the key dumping to see if I should get the right key in jungle flasher. When I tried to dump the keys I got the 55a5a5a5a5a5a555 error. This explains why it doesn't reconize any cd's. How can I fix this?

if thats the key that ur drive is givin you after you flashed it, the only hope for you is that you have a good back up off the key as if you dont its game over for your console

When I try to recover the dummy.bin file the following message appears:

well when my lite-on drive have my 1.51 fw and i read the dummy.bin i got from my drive i find out the dvd key one of the number was wrong so i have to open up my lite-on to get my info off my lite-on drive and tkae that dummy.bin i got from my drive and make sure all the stuff is right and make it dummy_fixed file =)
