hi guys sorry iv spent a long time trying to figure out jf and cant seem to fined many answers i really need a good pdf or something that can tell me what i need to do right from the start because nothing iv seen or read tells me about having to put the firmware in the jf folder and then renaming it. i so badly just need some one to tell me everything i need to do or a pdf explaining everything from the begining.
also guys i may end up flashing it with i prep so i was just wondering were the serial number is on the 74850c lite on drive?????
is it the big one above the serial bar code????
please help me out guys cos im getting so frustrated having to keep asking people on here, you must be getting fed up with it lol.

You can find that information in the jungleflasher PDF guide if you search for the word "Laser". In that part of the guide they explain how you can recover your serial data from you Lite-On drive.

Why do you need the serial number?

because if i ended up using iprep i need to have my serial number don`t i ?????
i had a look at cofree`s video and he said you need to type ya serial number in on part of the video???? omg or have i got that wrong to lol ????

The serial that coFree is refering to in his video is the xbox serial - located on the sticker on the back of the xbox.

Not the dvd drive serial.

Iprep does this for storage of the firmware dump for your safty. So you can tell what firmware and key goes with which xbox, since each xbox has it's own unique key.
