Just out of curiosity are the people getting banned playing games before abgx verifies the game?

Thanks.....Just trying to act like CSI on this and put together some sort of logical explanation.....the only thing I can come up with is playing before abgx verifies/release date and playing bad rips.......idk what does everyone else think about it.

Well abgx isn't the final word for everything especially if you rip your own games.

apparently MS can now detect a hacked drive regardless of weather or not a backup is present in the drive...or so is the rumor ive been reading. My friend had his original halo 3 MP disc in and was playing the left4dead 2 demo. bannnnned. I on the other hand have been playing online consistently not 2 miles away from him since long before the last update. so that may rule out the region-by-region theory. We both have the first lite-on drive with ix1.6.

Enough with ABGX all it does is check your game against the info it has in the database... That will not protect you in any way... It may actually help to get you caught as you are patching your game with PUBLIC files.

@ x3cho: I have heard the same rumour, but it if were true, M$ would have been doing this earlier, and probably end up implementing a system where your FW was 'scanned' every x days or what have you...
