can you spoof a lite-on (1.6 ixtreme flash) with a ben-q (1.61 ixtreme flash)
would this get around the lite-on flashing problem of playing wave 4 games untill the new lite-on ixtreme 1.61 comes out
just a idea

If your talking about replacing a lite-on with a benq, yes. You can do that. You just have to make sure that you spoof it right using the benq 1.61 ixtreme.

on not replaceing it. loading up dummy.bin in jf and benq 1.61xtreme then spoofing then flashing lite-on so the liteon thinks its a benq but with the 1.61 flash
Re: just a idea
If your talking about flashing a lite-on to where it thinks its a benq, that won't work. It would only work if you spoofed a benq 1.61 firmware to and flashed that to a benq to where it thinks its a lite-on. That way you would be running the 1.61 firmware. The 1.61 firmware will only work on samsungs and benq's at the moment. They are specific to each drive.
