i found a moded xbox 360 Elite with a philips drive

i go a head and take it ???

because i was searching for a new 360 not moded but no luck i didn't find one with benq drive:(

so i want to know if i can get an original firmware for philips drive because i didn't find a unmoded one

bceause there is no warranty for the 360 in our cuntry this is sucks


i also want to know, the benq hacked firmwares working with the philips ??

phillips=benq. They are the same company, just like lite-on. I can't remember which way the business deal went, but they are all under the same company now, benq/phillips/lite-on. The only way that you would have a true phillips drive is if this was a debug unit, and then it wouldn't be able to be modded because its not necessary with the debug units. Their dvd drives didn't even have a drive key.

As far as I know you can get all of the original fw's. You will still need to be able to get the keys off the hacked fw that's in the box now, so you can insert them into the orig. fw or into a new hacked fw.

As far as getting the xbox, that's just a chance you have to decide to take yourself. Can you put your hands on it or are you ordering it?

or a new hacked firmware will do rather than the original ???

You don't need the original fw as long as you have the keys. If it is a working xbox you should be able to do a read of the hacked fw and get the keys. Then you can create a new hacked fw with 360toolbox and flash that in with the latest fw. If it needs it. Either way I would do a read and get a copy of the existing hacked fw so that you will have a copy of the keys. Hope this helps.

firmware toolbox won't create the hacked firmware for anything other than a hitachi drive. You can download the original benq firmware by searching for team-modfreakz in google. He has a firmware section with just about every original firmware that the 360 has, they just don't have a key in them. Find that site, download the benq original that matches your version, then use firmware toolbox to insert the key from your drive into the one that you've downloaded and you have a working stock firmware for the drive.
