Hi guys , plz help , my drive freez on writing Bank 3.... , i dont know what to do , everything was ok , i got the key , i have all the hardware installed ok , plz i dont know what to do , i dont wanna turn off the PC or the drive , plz help ((((((

I did my 1st ever flash with following this tut yesterday, as i have a via sata card and it worked straight away, my pc keep freezing through the tut and flash and failed to write, soon as i did this it written ok, go to the 3rd post down the page, it mentions a file i changed the exstention to .bak, i did not delete it

thnx foxylady , but i used Iprep , u dont need to these steps in Iprep , i dont know what to do

Well you can turn your drive and PC off, there is no way to save it...

As far as why this happened, I am not sure, you haven't really given enough info (plus I am not a big iPrep user, I used jungle for my first flash, and stuck with it since).

What your going to want to try to do is check the drive, see if iPrep recognizes it. Its unlikely it will recognize it, but you may still be able to erase the drive, and re-write the FW.

Plz guys any help , i saw cofree video but i didnt get which files to keep it , which files to delete , so i didnt know how did he do the dos drive , and i havnt use jungle flasher to get the files that he mentioned , i used the Iprep 10.7 , so plz any help , thnx

thnx darktron , i will try it now , hopefully get it back , but why ixtream1.5 , am i suppose to use 1.6 ?

1. get your dvd key you got off your xbox360 and go in JF and go to " load source firmware" that where you need to put your dummy.bin that is your dvd key for that lite-on drive

2. next you need to open target firmware and put in "ix16-liteon" this is your heck firmware

3. next you need to " save to file" this is the heck firmware you need to save this in your usb drive it well look like this Lite_CFW.bin

o ya forgot to tell you make sure you have a backup dvd key for your lite-on drive
