Lite-On Flashing(Updating)

Hi,

How are you guys? I found this site few days ago. You did a good job.
Anyway, i have a question. I have a liteon drive and its already flashed/modded. I can play backup games but i cant play new wave3 games,wave4 games. I want to upgrade my drive. Is it possible to do this without any kits/probe? Because my drive can already play backup games. So i just want to upgrade to 1.5/1.6.

I dont know how to do it in iPrep without a probe (not a big iPrep user) but go into jungle flasher, with the tray half open and the drive powered on, click the dvd key 32 tab, then click dummy from ixtreme. From there you should get your OFW which will have your key in it, save it, then load your ixtreme FW 1.6/1.61 as target, click spoof source to target, erase the drive, write to the drive, outro the drive.

Basically, just power the drive up with the tray half open, click dummy from ixtreme, then follow this:

Thanks for answering. So it is possible with jungleflasher? Because its already flashed but i just want to upgrade.

What about the C3K? Can i do it without C3K?
Because my drive is already flashed. And i can connect it to my pc with sata cable and power it up by xbox. But some said that i need the key and without key its not possible and you can only get the key by C3K. Is this true?

You can get the key by either using a probe or bridging the R707 on the PCB

So it's still possible to pull keys with a probe from a previously flashed liteon? I thought that stuff got wiped out when you erase it.

NO!! you dont need the ck3 probe or nothing because its already been flashed before its all done over sata just follow the guide
