BANNED CONSOLE

I have 6 consoles
3 lite-on, 1 hit 79, 1 sam AND 1 benq
only the sam was not banned
i don't know why they bann people from xbl when you pay for it. i paid $60 for a service that now i can't use. i'm sure there something that it can be done to fight this. i have never played a pirated copy of the games i have alway played back ups from games i bought and because the xbox always finds a way to scratch them, i make backups to just in case with my kreon drive.

I havent been banned yet but 2 guys that ive modded their consoles for have been. 1 has a hit47 with 1.51 and the other is a benq with 1.6. The only thing that either of them has in common is Forza 3. Everyone else that ive done mods for havent reported to me anything yet. One of the guys got forza from me and it completely passed abgx....the other guy got it from another resource and says it passed but i dont know first hand. I hope someone has an idea of whats triggering these bans sooner or later. Its across the board on what could have possibly triggered each ban so nothing really matches up with the next.

probably argos or somewhere like that, they dont seem like the place that would be aware of it, just make sure you pay with cash. let us know how it goes.

Got banned a little while ago. I'm in Ireland. Hitachi drive with iextreme 1.51.

Not that bothered about missing out on LIVE, but fairly pissed that i now can't install games to the HDD any more. Thing sounds like a tank.

just reading on another forum and read some people can still access live if they take the "backup" disc out of their drive. They are able to talk to friends, access xbl content and games just like they arent banned, but as soon as the disc is back in the drive the ban message comes back again. Anyone on here experience or try this out yet? Just curious.

same happened with my friends but after an hour or 2 it completly kicked them out and banned them properly

if it was your console that was banned then you can still retrieve you gamertag. you just need a new 360.

that won't work, banning the console has nothing to do with dvd drive. you'll still be able to play burnt games, you just won't be able to access xboxlive with the banned console.
