hitachi 047 drive

hi guys i have a friends hitachi 047 that i want to flash,whats the best way to do one of these,as this is my first 047,whats the best program ie jungleflasher and what version to work with 1.51 firmware,thanks in advance guys

jungleflasher will work just fine on that. follow the tutorial that's above. you can use 1.66 or the latest. and yes use 1.51.

thanks for reply,im having trouble with jungleflasher seeing my hitachi drive i have disabled the via driver to stop the freezing problem and port io32 xbox 360driver is installed and running according to jungleflasher,i have tried on an xp and vista pc with the same problem,any ideas guys why the drive is not being recongised,do i need to enable the via driver and rename it,as with this disabled the via port is not showing in jungleflasher either,i tried enabling the via driver then the via port shows up but still no hitachi drive,any ideas guys,thanks

i believe in that case you won't see the via card show up but when you toggle through the ports your drive should appear. i would say trying using the slax 2.1 disc to get the computer to read the drive and get it into mode b as well. keep the via card disabled though. you can find the slax 2.1 disc in the download area. . .
