Play DVD - Liteon 83

I just flashed the firmware on my liteon 83 and whenever I put a backup it just says "play dvd" , im 99.9 % sure I dind't mix up the dvd key on the drive , its the only liteon 83 I have. I tried the flash multiple times using Iprep and its always successful but still no luck with the games.

I have tried flashing using JF but it always crashes during the liteon erase part and locks the drive.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions for me to try ?

does it play original games?

it does not play original games ether , it does play movies

then it is a problem with the firmware.

when it locked up. did you do the drive restore method before trying to flash it again?

You need to follow this tut (listed below) as long as you have the information from the drive, ie dummy.bin, key.bin inquiry.bin.

I have try this and its done nothing for me , I still get "play dvd" no matter what backup I put in
