HELP liteon locked after erase!

I tried to use jungleflasher to update the firmware on my LiteOn drive from 1.51 to 1.6. I got to the part where I've already erased the fw and I click write. As its writing the firmware the dots that show progress stutter on bank 1 & 3 (about 5 seconds on bank 1 and 10-15 seconds on bank 3), then it fails on the verify. I tried that about 5 times and it fails every time.
Then I figure I'll give up on windows and JF, and I'll just use dosflash following the "Lite-on Recover if it locked up after erase video" that's on this site (like I had to do before to get 1.51 on this drive).
When I tried to use l-o-eras.exe it always returns FF80 instead of FF72 like its supposed to. I tried it about 40 times. Sometimes I tried messing with resetting the drive when I did it, but it always returned FF80.
Then I tried dosflash anyways and it doesn't even detect my drive.
Then I tried to go back to JungleFlasher and now it doesn't detect my drive either. When I tried to do a 'Lite-On Erase' even though it didn't detect my drive it says 'Drive returned Status 0x80'.

I'm using a via 3249 PCI card with a Xtractor360 on a Windows XP MCE.
Someone please help me, I just got banned and would hate to loose my ability to play offline too!

I had a similar problem , what I needed to do is get myself a working drive (out of a friends box) and when trough the "unlock liteon drive" steps.

With the working drive I did l-o-eras and got my FF72 status , after that I did dosflash (still with the new drive) , during the dosflash right after you resend the command it asked you what you want to do (w - write / e -erase / etc..) at this part I swap the working drive with my "locked" drive and did "liteon e" , it erased the drive and unlocked it , I then finished flashing my drive in dos

I don't have access to another liteon drive, but I do have a spare hitachi from my old 360. Is that something I can do with a hitachi, or would I need 2 liteons?

im not 100% sure on that , i would think you need 2 liteon's , I never tried with a different type of drive

If by info you mean all the .bin files... then yes, I still have all the info for the drive. I have the 5 .bin files that I got from DVDKey32 plus a CFW spoofed and ready to be written.
I have tried to use iprep without any luck, but hopefully I was doing something wrong.
