LITE ON 74850 C Piece of Junk
All,
Please please share your fruitful knowlodge from the woods!
I flashed my third lite on 74850 c a couple of days ago using jungle flasher and probe, the flash was sucessful but the drive didn't play fair in the XBOX, I took the drive back out and now it is undetectable in my pc, I have tried jungle flasher, iprep and dos but still can't get the dam thing to be recognised. I have all the info required just wondering if there are any other tricks before I purchase a new drive. The trashed drive was from a new XBOX 360.
Please help I am now desperate.

Re: LITE ON 74850 C Headache!!!!!!!!!!
I did manage to get my liteon to be recognized again after erase and the freeze. My drive would not eject so i did it manually. I think i used the intro and done the quick power on/off, that or erase again and quick power on/off. Took a few goes but this did work for me. Flashed and working.

Cheers for the response, My fingers got worn out constantly trying kept getting 0x7F (drive not detected) every go.
Re: LITE ON 74850 C Act's like its bricked
You tried a power cycle on the drive to make sure it is in vendor mode. Probably have but i did do that a few times too.

keep on clicking erase until you get 0x72 on dos flash, if in vista right click run as admin, maybe better

It may be less hassle to just buy a new drive, and spoof it in.
