Oh man one thing after another. I flashed my 360 and it was working just fine but it did not read MW2 so I was told to re-flash from 1.4 to 1.51. Well I tried doing a restore and failed on doing it. When I clicked on flash button it started and stopped at about two bars and PC froze so I had to restart the PC. So now my drive dose not want to open and I have a red light turning on now at the lower right hand corner. Is there anything I can do to save this? I still have the first org. fw files saved. Please any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have never used jungle flasher I have no idea how to see if I see it. Please tell me how I can check

OK, what happens when you try to flash it?

Okay I am not sure if I was suppose to use the org. fw that I saved or the org. fw from fw tool. but anyway I used the one from fw tool. I opened up the file the keys looked crazy and I copied and paste the org. good key and saved. After that I did the raw bump and save then the flash. And that's when it froze as soon as the flash started.

Yeah, Hitachis are a pain, I think it is done for. but if you want to keep trying. I would suggest trying to use jungle flasher. it is really easy and you can actually tell what is wrong with the drive.

Okay I tried JF to see if I can detect my Hitachi 79 drive & get it into B mode. Still no luck No B mode tray still will not open. Is there a fix please someone help. Can I fix it if its bricked are there any tut. that would help me?

if you got a good dump off of it you can get another drive. if its locked up the only way is to desoder the chip and use a pic programmer which if trying for the first time your better off finding a used 360. As long as you got a good dump though you can always get another drive cheap. I suggest a sammy or benq preferbaly a benq because they seem to have less issues than any other drive.
