Question about the new 360 MW2 bundle

Whats the advantages of the new machine? And so far, has the drive been flashable? (though I'll be waiting awhile and using my banned 360 to play my backups offline)

It has 2 controllers, a 250gb HDD and custom painting. The drives are Lite-on 8000 series.

Its supposed to be better hardware wise. Is that true? I heard someone refer to it as the next-gen 360, but I doubt its that. Its just a better chip heat and power wise isnt it?
