HDD question

I just got rid of my banned xbox and i have a question i have a 120 gig HDD that i got back working on my new NON MODDED xbox but i was wondering can i use my HDD on my modded 360 which is not banned to play some games offline to gain on some achievements and then pop that bad boy back in on my legit xbox and not worry about my good non modded box getting banned from xbox live? i have been looking all night and can not get a strait yes or no answer can anybody please help

now are you sure about that cos the acheivements my banned box clocked up were corrupted when i put my 120 into a new box i had to delete my profile then i re-claimed my profile but the acheivements were not there .

so you better check with 1 acheivement first
