CK3 Probe fried. Can I still update Liteon drive?

Hello there. I was wondering if I could still update the liteon drive. A part of the ck3 probe is fried. I'm not sure if it works or not because it fried one of my friend's drive while he put the power cable the wrong way. Can I still update the liteon drive if I have the original information. Thanks.

yea you dont need the probe to update just do a "dummy from ixtreme" in JF

yea, you have to bridge the r707 points with a small screw driver when doing the dump.
