making computer flash drive bootable question

Hi when I go into my bios it only says"boot from other device" or somthing like that,and doesn't show my flash drive.If I click yes to this will it boot from the flash? just need to get it clear befor I flash my benq for the first time tomorrow!! Also do you have to alter this back when you've finnished flashing for your computer to start to windows with the flash in as I'm not the only one using the computer? thanks -Jay

if you change your boot order and put the flash 1st it will look for a flash to boot o first
on some pc you have to have a boot flash in the pc then go into the bios for the pc to see it

Hi thanks for the super fast reply cofree, this site is the best!!!!So just to get it strait,If I put the flash drive in the computer with the bootable info on it as if to flash the drive and then go into my bios the computer should then see it and I can give the comand?If not how do I change the boot order. Still learning on the computer side as well!! Thanks for all the help.I do appreciate it alot.-Jay

man i cant tell you how to work your poc bios
you will just have to play with it and try different thing

on my dell
i have to
boot other devices
usb zip

then it will boot from a flash
pc are different
so that about all i can offer
