Reflashing issue with Liteon DG-16D2S

Hi all,

I am having a litte trouble sorting out my Liteon DG-16D2S.

Basically I want to reflash from v1.51 to v1.6, and found Sadalius's video for reflashing from v1.5 to v1.51 in Jungleflasher. When he gets to 3.30 in his video the Firmware Tool 32 tab automatically finds the target and the DVD key etc matches the source. My target does not automatically appear and I am not sure how to tackle this. Because of a computer issue I don't have my original files but have got xbin versions of v1.51 and v1.6.

Can anyone advise where I am going wrong here, the process works until this point - and its twisting my melon now.

1 open drive half way
2 power on then open jungleflasher
3 click dummy from ixtreme " this will dump yourware and key since it's been flashed before"
4 click open target firmware and find your 1.6 firmware
5 click spoff source to target and make sure your keys match
6 save then lite on erase click "yes" "yes" turn drive on then off as instructed
7 write firmware
8 click outro

Thaks for that - just done it, was not sure whether to click the spoof button with him not needing to in the video.

I did the lite-on erase without it freezing and then pressed write...verifaction fails. Can anyone advise why? Details from Jungle Flasher below:

I'm sure I'd spoofed cos it copied my key across!?

I froze it trying again so just preparing to unlock it and do it through dosflash etc. Grrrr!!

I'd made a Lite_CFW so I am assuming I am okay to do it this way still?

yea just load your dummy then your new firmware then erase again then intro your drive before you flash . that will probally solve your problem
