We've managed to get our hands on a leaked video from the ZooZen R&D team which shows the development of a stunning Xbox 360 case. The 'Overcase' simply fits on via the front front face plate and instantly transforms the 360 into a far more attractive living room proposition. It also features extra cooling via 2 fans and an auto-sensing blue disc light effect.

Soooooo, we've heard the final retail price may be around $50. But most importantly, what do you all think of it?

Looks awesome, i'd prefer it if it were a replacement case, but I guess it will do perfect for those who dont want to 'void warranty'.

i too think the fans may be poor,

I agree hopefully it will stay a concept, this looks like a upgraded towel trick , take a stereo reciever shell and stick it on the xbox wow! Rule number 1 dont put yout xbox in a enclosed space. rule 2 stay away from this thing

I seriously doubt this will cause RROD.

The back is open, and there are air holes in the case where the holes are in the 360. Not to mention the fan forcing cool air in through the side/bottom of the xbox.

If I were the developers of this, the first thing I would be thinking about is RROD. If this product was capable of prolonging the life of your box AND making it look awesome, it would be worth well over 50 bucks. (Just my opinion)

If the point is prolonging the 360 then look somewhere else. I repair 360's on a large scale and I have seen every preventive measure fail from suped up cases to elaborate water cool designs. If your the kinda guy who likes to put clothes on his dog this is probally something you'll like. Is it a 360 or is it a stereo reciever? I put a wii into a 360 shell and people were amazed. I actually sold one! here for those that can't wait here's how to make one.
1 Take a box.
2 black spray paint
3 paint it
4 place it over your 360

im takn from what ive watched there u wont be able to use wired controllers cause the power button covers that up jus from lookn at the video
